• Consecutive Interpreting: This technique allows the interpreter to listen and comprehend a sentence or two and then stop the speaker by using a hand gesture, he or she will then interpret word for word in the first person speech in the first or second language.
   
• Simultaneous Interpreting: This technique requires a lot of training and skill. The interpreter will listen and interpret at the same time as the speaker making sure that the message is being interpreted accurately.   
• 
  Whispered Interpreting. This technique minimises the disturbance or any stoppages in proceedings while the person requiring the service only needs to understand and is not needed to speak.

Conference Interpreting
